Kelsius is recruiting for the role of Junior PHP developer to strengthen its R&D team. You will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining various applications (Client facing and internal web based applications), to continue to grow our market base. This is an exciting opportunity, if you have an interest in IoT and want to get involved in a rapidly growing industry.

You will work alongside the Product Manager, the R&D team and the Testing team and be responsible for the full development life cycle of the app. Your capability to understand requirements and to convert them to efficient solutions makes you an ideal self-starter candidate.

This is a remote working role with quarterly visits to our head office in Falcarragh, Co. Donegal. Candidates must reside in Ireland and have the right to work in Ireland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing software: Design, implementation, testing, documentation (Agile).
  • Provide accurate time estimates.
  • Liaise with Project Manager and other existing members of the team.
  • Adhere to the company software management policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have some experience with PHP and MySQL. 2+ years’ experience a plus.
  • Have a third level Computing qualification.
  • Demonstrate initiative, be a self-starter, show willingness to learn.
  • Possess good Object Orientated skills and proven problem solving skills.
  • Have strong organizational skills and demonstrate a good attention to detail.
  • Have good communication skills and be a team player.
