Field Services Engineer (Midlands)

Kelsius manufactures, distributes and maintains a system that wirelessly and automatically monitors the temperature and safety of all food products, both hot and cold, as well as medicines, blood samples and other temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical material.

Kelsius improves HACCP compliance, saving time, reducing risk and providing information at your fingertips. HACCP – short for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point – is a systematic approach to identifying and controlling hazards that could pose a danger to the preparation of safe food or medicines.

Kelsius is seeking to employ a Field Services Engineer based in Athlone, to cover the Midlands.

The successful candidate will be required to travel to customer sites to carry out the duties listed below:

· Installation of Kelsius wireless temperature monitoring and HACCP automation systems

· Servicing Kelsius equipment

· Temperature/Humidity Calibrations

· Training Kelsius Customers

· Pre-installation Site-Surveys

Skills & Experience Required:

· Experience in a similar field service environment

· Full clean Irish driving license

· Electrical/trade experience/qualification (desirable)

· Have strong organizational skills and demonstrate good attention to detail

· Have excellent communication skills

· Basic knowledege of Microsoft Office

· Excellent customer service skills

· Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable

· Ability to both, work of own initiative and as part of a team

The suitable candidate must be available to travel to various customer locations throughout the region and at times further afield. Working away from home will be required at times and on occasion overseas travel.

Customer Support Technician – Shift Work

Kelsius is recruiting for the role of Customer Support Technician. You will be responsible for remote customer auditing / reporting and supporting Kelsius customers.

Location: Gweedore & Falcarragh, Co. Donegal

This role is based on-site at our head office in Gweedore, Co. Donegal. Candidates must reside within commutable distance to the office and they must hold the relevant documentation for right to work in Ireland.

Hours of Work: Full-time (37.5) Shift work. Day, evening and night shift will be required, based on rota. Shift work rates will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling customer queries including the logging of all customer calls
  • Ensure all inbound customer calls are responded to promptly
  • Remote customer auditing and reporting
  • Monitoring of high priority ‘Watch List’ customers
  • Act as point of contact for client queries and escalations when necessary
  • Carrying out system changes using Kelsius configuration tools

Skills & Experience Required:

  • At least 1 years experience in a customer facing or customer support help desk environment
  • Have strong organisational skills and demonstrate good attention to detail
  • Have an excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Have the ability to produce written reports and documentation
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management skills, with the demonstrated ability to handle multiple clients, projects and priorities simultaneously
  • 3rd level technical qualification desirable but not required
  • Fluency in European Languages an advantage
